COOP by Ryder

What it is
Commercial vehicle sharing for BUSINESSES: list idle trailers, trucks, tractors and vans for rent. The owner approves each rental request. Business-only — their own help center states the platform does not support personal or one-way rentals

Requirements people miss
Proof of LLC/Inc/Corp filed with the state; BUSINESS-ONLY, the heaviest barrier set in this group (their own property): listing requires a business Certificate of Insurance, business registration, and an ACTIVE DOT NUMBER — federal operating authority. No personal or one-way rentals
Worker costs
No worker fees — Free to list — no obligation, no removal penalty (their own page). Every rental carries Ryder's 24/7 roadside assistance, a $100K physical damage policy and a $1M liability policy, plus Vehicle Downtime Coverage to secure earnings if a vehicle has unexpected downtime (their stated coverage, confirmed on their own page 2026-08-23 — not our verification of the underlying policy, and not a replacement for your own insurance)

What workers rate the app

The rating of the app workers use — never the customer app. Each store is its own witness; we show both and never average them. The count is what makes a score mean something. Click a listing to see the number as it stands today.

Apple App Store
COOP by Ryder ™3.8 from 28 ratings — reported, not confirmed · checked 2026-09-02
Google Play
COOP By Ryder ™3.7 from 59 reviews — reported, not confirmed · checked 2026-09-02

One app serves both workers and customers here, so this rating blends both populations.

candidates-package-v11.md: their own 'Renting Out Vehicles' page — OWNER-side in its own words ('Earn Revenue from Your Idle Trailers', 'list your idle... trailers for rent'), recorded under the minimum-not-maximum ruling. app.coop.com/register-owner resolves but renders an unreadable shell, so its side could not be read off the page and it is NOT recorded (Lugg rule); coop.com/register is the unified rent-or-list account form and is likewise not recorded as the owner door — FETCHED 2026-08-12, HTTP 200
