GigSalad

What it is
Marketplace where event workers and performers — waitstaff, bartenders, entertainers — list themselves and get booked. A FREE tier exists. Client pays in full at booking; the deposit is sent to the worker IN ADVANCE, balance after the event; payouts in 1–2 business days by direct deposit or PayPal; payment protection under a cancellation policy the worker chooses; unlimited leads at every tier
What you need
Free tier exists — you can list without paying (their own pages)

Requirements people miss
All bookings must process through the platform: a documented three-strike policy ends in permanent removal for off-site booking (their own pages)
Worker costs
Free members pay a 5% booking fee with fewer leads and less exposure. Paid members pay a 2.5% booking fee plus a membership subscription — you pay this before you can earn anything, and monthly billing no longer exists: a 3-month plan is the minimum commitment. Their claim: Featured members get 20–28x more leads than free. Worker-reported, not confirmed by the provider: vendors bid against each other, which drags prices down
